VAIO Phone Biz: A Windows 10 smartphone

Since its formal separation from Sony, VAIO has been quietly making a comeback. Sticking to its aesthetic in hardware design, they have announced their new smartphone powered by Windows 10.


The VAIO Phone Biz is made out of silver-finished aluminum that shouts premium. Its LCD is sized at 5.5 inches with full HD resolution. Inside is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 chipset w/ 3GB of RAM. The camera department is handled by a 13-megapixel rear shooter and an LED flash.

Even with a mid-range chipset, the VAIO Phone Biz will support Windows Continuum for enhanced productivity. Availability will start by April in Japan for ¥50,000 or around Php20,000 unlocked.
