Zuckerberg also stated that Meta Verified is all about "increasing authenticity and security across their services." Meta has also stated that there will be no changes to accounts on Instagram and Facebook that are already verified based on prior requirements, including authenticity and notability. In order to sign up and be eligible for Meta Verified, the following requirements are needed: Accounts must meet minimum activity requirements, such as prior posting history, and be at least 18 years old. Meta Verified is currently priced at USD 11.99 per month on the web and USD 14.99 per month on iOS.
