Xiaomi reveals the launch date of the Xiaomi 12S series. Lei Jun, CEO of Xiaomi, shares a photo of a rendered Xiaomi 12 S Pro on Weibo. This shows the Xiaomi 12 S Pro will have an identical design to the Xiaomi 12 Pro. Based on the official Weibo accounts of Xiaomi Phone and Lei Jun, the Xiaomi 12 S and 12 S Pro will have the same sensor as the Xiaomi 12 Pro which is equipped with a 50MP Sony IMX707., the upcoming Xiaomi 12 S and Xiaomi 12 S Pro will utilize a 50MP Sony IMX707 camera sensor. According to tipsters, the Xiaomi 12 S Pro will have two variants - The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 model to have an 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB memory configurations, while the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 variant will not be available with 128GB storage.
