#Xiaomi Mi 6X camera

Xiaomi has officially announced its newest Mi phone called the 6X, and it features dual rear cameras with AI technology and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip. The Chinese company touts the thin, metal-clad phone to deliver exceptional portrait photos as their cameras are supported by its own AI software which detects one of 12 pre-set scenes to enable the camera to distinguish the subject (including hair accessories and hand gestures) from its background. Xiaomi Mi 6X specs: 5.99-inch FHD+ LTPS display @ 2160 x 1080px, 403ppi Corning Gorilla Glass 3 2.2GHz Octa-core Snapdragon 660 Adreno 512 GPU 4GB, 6GB RAM 64GB. The Xiaomi Mi 6X comes in three variants -- 4GB/64GB for RMB1,599 (~Php13,200), 6GB/64GB for RMB1,799 (~Php14,900) and 6GB/128GB for RMB1,999 (~Php16,500) -- and will be available in China starting April 27th. A reader emailed in asking for advise on which dSLR camera to get with a budget under Php40,000. I'm biased towards Canon cameras but here's my list of possible kits you can buy with that budget. Both feature a rectangular camera island housing two large circular cutouts, which gives it a robotic-eye kind of look.
