OS, UI, and Apps Onto the software side, the Xiaomi Pad Mini, being a 2025 release, shipped with HyperOS 2 based on Android 15. Sadly, Xiaomi did not say anything about update policy for the Pad Mini, but we’re expecting at least two major OS upgrades and three years of security patches.
