Xiaomi is set to launch in the Philippines next week the Redmi Note 5, sporting a 5.99-inch display, Snapdragon 636 octa-core CPU, dual rear cameras, and 4,000mAh battery. Xiaomi recently released a new smartphone in India, sporting a 5.99-inch display, octa-core processor, up to 6GB RAM, 64GB storage, dual-rear cameras, and a large 4,000mAh battery, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro. The Redmi Note 5 Pro, however, has a lone front camera but sports a higher 20MP resolution with LED flash. Doogee didn't mention the details of its cameras, but Xiaomi equipped the Redmi Note 5 Pro with Sony sensors which are one of the best out there. The Redmi Note 5 Pro packs extra features like IR Blaster which is a convenient feature especially if you lost your TV's remote, for example. Performance-wise, both have octa-core chipsets with the Redmi Note 5 Pro having a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636, while the Mix 2 has the MediaTek Helio P25. Both devices are clad in metal with Gorilla Glass on the front but the Redmi Note 5 Pro is thinner and lighter.
