After several rumors and leaks online and the official announcement of the reveal date just a few days ago, we finally get to meet Xiaomi's latest duo -- The Redmi Note 5 and Note 5 Pro. The Note 5 Pro is the first ever phone to be powered by Qualcomm's newest Snapdragon 636 processor and the first Redmi Note to have dual cameras. The new Note is equipped with a 5.99-inch FHD+ 18:9 display protected Corning Gorilla Glass, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor, Adreno's 506 GPU, 3/4GB of RAM, 32/64GB of internal storage, MIUI 9.2 based on Android 7.1.1, and a 4,000mAh battery. The Note 5 Pro is equipped with a5.99-inch FHD+ 18:9 display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass, Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor, Adreno's 509 GPU, 4/6GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, MIUI 9.2 based on Android 7.1.2, and a 4,000mAh battery. Xiaomi is touting the Note 5 Pro as their best camera phone to date. The company also revealed that they'll be adding in Facial Recognition to the Note 5 Pro in the coming months.
