YouTube allows their Premium subscribers to experiment on new features that the platform will potentially release to the public. One of this is a sleep timer that lets users pause the playback after a short amount of time. To try it out, Premium users have to open YouTube and go through the settings while having a video playing. The Sleep Timer feature will be available. New features for YouTube Premium Lite include the ability to play videos in the background and download most of them for offline viewing. YouTube Music has started placing song lyrics behind a paywall, requiring users to subscribe to YouTube Premium or YouTube Music Premium to view full lyrics. To continue viewing lyrics without limits, users must subscribe to YouTube Music Premium or YouTube Premium.
