With the announcement of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4, the biggest question we're all asking (aside from the price) is how is it different from last year's Galaxy Z Flip3 and is it worth to upgrade to the new model? [table id=1865 /] The first and more obvious upgrade here is the chipset -- the Z Flip4 got a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 which is two generations higher than the Snapdragon 888 of the Z Flip3. What's curious though is that the Flip4 is actually heavier at 187 grams compared to the 183 grams of the Flip3. This could be due to the higher battery capacity of the Flip4 at 3,700mAh compared to the 3,300mAh on the Flip3. Camera configuration is the same on paper but Samsung claims better low-light performance on the Galaxy Z Flip4. The Galaxy Z Flip4 has a price parity of PHP 6,000 for the storage variant. Now the question -- is it worth it to upgrade to the Galaxy Z Flip4. If you're using the Galaxy Z Flip3, we don't see the urgent need.
