ASUS has released the firmware update for the device and you can manually flash it right away. The update is labeled as version WW_21.40.0.1692 for the Zenfone Selfie (ZD551KL). The update includes the much-awaited jump Android 6.0 Marshmallow plus many other changes to the system.
