Globe is also offering zero-interest packages for 24 months via BPI Credit Card.
iPhone 4S 16GB at Php1,999/month = Plan 1799 + Php200/month for 24 months at 0% interest.
iPhone 4S 32GB at Php2,699/month = Plan 2499 + Php200/month for 24 months at 0% interest.
iPhone 4S 64GB at Php3,999/month = Plan 3799 + Php200/month for 24 months at 0% interest.
Basically what this deal offers is deferred payment for the cash-out at zero interest. Might be tempting if you’re getting the 64GB iPhone 4S and split the Php15k cash-out into 12 months (any credit card) or 24 months (BPI).
Freebies include (given monthly):
A: 10 mins of calls & 200 SMS to Globe/TM
B: 5 mins of call & 25 SMS to other networks
C: 10 mins IDD & 10SMS to 10 international destination
D: Free Mobile surfing for 3 hours
E: Unlimited Call & Text to 1 Globe/TM number
Note: Freebie “D” doesn’t seem to make sense since all plans include unlimited data. Freebies “E” is best deal, IMO.
Note: Globe reps would not give me the final pricing for the prepaid kit but the ballpark figures are Php37k, Php43k and Php49k.

Neil says:
Prepaid prices are here. http://www.misterjonjon.com/2011/12/exclusive-globe-plan-and-pricing.html
Details was straight from a Globe agent. Though I wonder if they will make an adjustment since Smart’s prepaid SRPs is way lower.
Abe Olandres says:
They said that figure is not yet official and might be changed tomorrow when they announce it.
Neil says:
@Sir Abe:
They will probably do change it after seeing the SRPs of Smart. We’re starting to feel the benefits of the competition! :)
Btw, that info is from a Globe Chat agent.
Peebee says:
Why do i get the feeling that. Globe retention sucks? I was given a loyalty retention offer that is the same as the offer for new subscriber… So i dont get any benefit from being loyal to globe… Booh!
darkpalosx says:
yeah parang lokohan na retention nila considering na may competition na. parang ang clincher lang sa akin is makuha ko na daw ng dec 16 yung 4s ko at hindi nako magwait ng january, thats a big lie kaagad.buti nagisip isip pa ako kasi same price lang pala pag sa new subscriber ;(
Derk says:
Think of it as an improvement (kahit hindi hahahaha). They don’t usually offer newly launched phones as part of their loyalty plans. Right now, mukhang inuna tayo. But then tama nga, loyalty = new subscriber offer lang na parang di ka part sa kinita nila on the last two years, sana man lang may discount for being “loyal” to them. Pero kung improve nila ng mabilisan yung kulelat nilang coverage sa 3G at 4g ok na ko dun.
techjunkeez says:
tama ka Derk. Globe’s 3G coverage is kulelat. I got a 3G signal on an area which most of the time I hang out. When I complained about this, they said: 3G signal that reflects on the phone doesn’t necessarily suggest that it is. “What?”. And they added that it has yet to be aligned to that particular tower and I have yet to file an escalation letter to request for it. “What?”. Less than a week after that, I opted to disconnect my Unlisurf Plan. I don’t mind paying extra charges.
Peebee says:
Guys youre making it so hard for me to renew my globe plan….
Sabi ko pa naman Il just get the unlimsurf 999 then cash out 25k pero yeah, globe nternet sucks. Sa office namin its not 3g signal, eh sun broadband nga nasa 2mbps and registered. DL speed ko.
Now yung smart naman bakit ganun hindi daw pwedeng magadd on ng unlicall plans sa iphone data plans nila…
Jake says:
I’d go for Smart IPhone4S postpaid..
Vin says:
Mas mura ata naging pricing ngayon kesa nung Iphone4 I got mine under 1799 plan with 9900k cash out kung di ako nagkakamali.. hmmm anyway good news kahit papaano..
cutejigs says:
@Vin yan na ata pinakamahal na iphone na nakita ko, 9900k. ginto at diamonds ata nakaembed sa phone mo :D
ernani_amb says:
i don’t know much about plans. but parang ang mura ata ng cash-out sa…
iPhone 4S 16GB: Php4,800 cash-out on Plan 1799 ?
millie says:
I know! parang too good to be true haha
ung iphone 4 ang cash out 9900.. tapos now for 4s 4800 lang…
true ba talaga toh? haha~
Vin says:
@cutejigs yup, last year yun december nung nag avail ako sa globe postpaid.. kaya nga ang laking gulat ko nakita ko 4k+ lang cash out ngayon.. iba talaga pag may ka competensya hehe
edu says:
cutejig is just being sarcastic. He meant your phone is so expensive because of your 9900k cash out. K stands for thousands, that means 9900k is equivalent to 9,900,000. I guess you bought an iPhone that is made up of Gold and Diamonds! =D
galaxy s2 says:
Paanong di magiging mura tong phone na to eh scrapware lang iPhone 4 to. Imagine kung gaano kamura imanufacture to using the same “aluminum unibody” casing and LCD “Retina” screen. Same style, same screen. Nakakabore na.
Magandroid na lang kayo, espc. Galaxy Note with “HD LED Screen” rather than “LCD”.
or kung pulubi kayo mas mabuti pang bumili ng nokia kesa dito. At least may “Carl Zeiss” camera kesa sa aluminum piece of crap called IPHONE!!!
Nokia and Android FTW!!!
Vin says:
@galaxy s2.. easy lang :) each of us my kanya kanyang trip sabi nga.. anyway your right mas okay para sakin android.. currently happy sa s2 din sana lang nga my update tayo sa ICS by next year.

@galaxy s2 networking lang kasi alam mo kaya kumikita ka mga banat mong ganyan mga hirit ng networker yan. di niyo nman pinag paguran yun kundi mga downline nyo ang nagpakahirap
Ed says:
The big difference is the OS.
It’s like having a dinner in expensive restaurants (for Apple) against fast foods (Android). People with money to spare prefer to dine sa former…So, don’t compare iOS with other OSes….Android OS is good kaya lang sobrang dami ng versions + dagdag mo pa yung customizations ng carrier (e.g. Samsung, LG etc).
blackdahlia018 says:
Rebecca Alfaro says:

Parang mas affordable ang smart sa offering: http://abetoy.blogspot.com/2011/12/smart-unveals-iphone-4s.html
