It seems like LG is now all buckled up for the upcoming CES 2018 as they finally unveiled its world’s first 88-inch 8K OLED display that will have an appearance on the said trade show.
The new panel has a resolution of 7680 x 4320, which is double the vertical and horizontal resolution of the usual 4K panel and is four times as many pixels as 4K TVs that you usually see on the market. LG, however, didn’t disclose any information regarding the TV’s price, release timeline, or any further technical details.
We can only expect that this one is going to be twice as expensive as LG’s current 77-inch OLED TV with 4K resolution which costs a whopping $20,000 (~Php996,800).
