Samsung 85-inch Bendable UHDTV in action

Listen to article

Aside from the 105-inch Curve Ultra HD TV that Samsung unveiled yesterday, they also showcased a Bendable UHDTV, a first of its kind.

The TV looks like a typical flat Ultra HD TV but with a push of a button, it transforms into a curved TV.

Here’s how it looks like during the demo. There’s a mechanism at the back that pushes the edge of the TV outwards to make it bend.

This is still a prototype and a possibility that Samsung is looking into. A Samsung rep tells us that we might not see any commercial model to be out this year.
