Samsung Q900FN 8K QLED TV announced

Samsung has unveiled their new QLED TV at IFA 2018, sporting an 85-inch screen and 8K resolution, the Samsung Q900FN QLED 8K TV.

The Q900FN will feature all the benefits of Samsung’s flagship QLED line and several enhancements. It is capable of 4,000 nit peak brightness, is powered by HDR10+ technology, and is equipped with Samsung’s 8K Quantum Processor and proprietary AI-powered 8K Upscaling technology to enhance lower resolution content to 8K quality.

Other features include the ability to recognize and analyze connected entertainment devices like audio devices connected via optical cable with the One Remote; Ambient Mode that displays images, weather, news and more on the screen; One Invisible Connection which incorporates the optical cable and power into one thin cord; SmartThings; and Universal Guide for personalized recommendations to easily find live and OTT content on TV.

Pricing and availability are yet to be announced.
