The TCL Thunderbird F6 gaming monitor has been launched. It offers 300Hz refresh rate with an enticing price tag to boot.

Aside from its high refresh rate, it also comes with 1ms of GTG response to help with competitive gaming. It uses a 24.5-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 as well.
The monitor also features a MiniLED backlight system with 180 local dimming zones and 10-bit color depth. This makes for enhanced contrast, deeper blacks, and vibrant highlights for a user’s overall visual experience.
TCL says that this is also improved by Quantum Dot technology with 97 percent DCI-P3 color gamut and 99 percent sRGB. Plus, it supports FreeSync Premium and G-Sync that eliminates screen tearing and stuttering.
The monitor has a peak brightness of 600 nits, an HDR 600 certification, and a TUV Rheinland low blue light certification. The ratings ensure that it’s great for prolonged use and lesser eye strain.

Other than the display, the stand is quite flexible as well. It provides full adjustability with tilt from -5 to 15 degrees and height adjustment up to 125mm. Users may also tinker with its swivel up to 20 degrees and its full vertical rotation of up to 90 degrees. It’s safe to say that users can work to customize the setup to have optimal comfort.
Connectivity options include two HDMI ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, and an audio port. This should make for seamless integration with PCs and consoles.
The TCL Thunderbird F6 is affordably priced at CNY 999 (~PHP 8K). The monitor is currently available in China with no word yet on its availability in other markets. Of course, we’ll update readers accordingly should details arrive.
