Instant Articles are coming to Facebook Messenger

After a year from its initial launch, the famed Instant Article feature of Facebook is getting ported to their messaging platform for easier and more instant reading.

Just today, Facebook Messenger gets Instant Article support eliminating the need of opening a browser to read something online, given the site has the feature activated. According to Facebook, Instant Article loads up to 10 times faster versus standard mobile web articles. To know whether a link is an Instant Article, simply look for a lighting bolt on the top right corner of the shared link’s image.

The update is slowly rolling out first to Android users with the iOS platform following suite.
