Too Cool for IE

Listen to article

The Paulasaurus Rex just launched a new campaign called “Too Cool for Internet Explorer”.

So what’s the campaign about? Not caring whether your blog, site, or whatever works in Internet Explorer. As most people are starting to figure out, people who use Internet Explorer shouldn’t even be allowed on the Internet. While I don’t condone spreading viruses or crashing Internet Explorer (though I know ways to do this with just CSS), I recommend letting your IE visitors know that IE is not welcome.

To join his campaign, you just need to have the 2Cool4IE logo posted in your site like mine (check bottom right). A worthy cause? Up to you to decide. Here’s the code for it.3

P.S. You will notice the icon would not render appropriately with IE but it does so with Firefox just fine.

Jose,

You can do an echo in PHP for that:

< ? php echo ("Y O U R H T M L H E R E"); ? >

Just make sure that all the double quotes (“) in the HTML is converted to single quotes (‘).

If it’s PNG it won’t render well with IE. We can do some JavaScript to give IE user less usability :P
