I wouldn’t trust any authoritarian, repressive government. China has detained over 1 million Uighur Muslims and placed them in internment camps. Video smuggled out of the country reveals the Uighur people are being used as slave labor. I would never buy any device made in China, even if it was less expensive and had better features than a device made in a South Korea, Taiwan, Japan, etc.

Yes, I might spend more money buying a Samsung or Acer or Motorola phone, but sometimes you have to weight the long term benefits of supporting freedom loving nations.
