CES 2025: Acer Nitro Blaze 8 and Blaze 11 Handhelds, Nitro Gaming Controller Announced

Acer has expanded its handheld gaming lineup with the introduction of the Nitro Blaze 8 and Nitro Blaze 11 at CES 2025.

Alongside the handhelds, Acer also launched the Nitro Mobile Gaming Controller, a portable accessory for mobile gamers.

First, the Nitro Blaze 8 features an 8.8-inch WQXGA display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Meanwhile, the Nitro Blaze 11 steps up with a larger 10.95-inch WQXGA display at 120Hz.

Both models run on the AMD Ryzen 7 8840HS processor and AMD Radeon 780M graphics.

For memory and storage, the handhelds are equipped with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 2TB PCIe Gen 4 SSDs. They also include Wi-Fi 6E connectivity, DTS:X Ultra Audio, and Acer’s Game Space app for managing games and apps.

Acer’s Nitro Mobile Gaming Controller is designed for Android and iOS devices, featuring adjustable grips that support phones up to 8.3 inches. It offers 18W fast pass-through charging.
