Acer has unveiled the Nitro Blaze Link, a new handheld gaming device designed to stream PC games from compatible Acer gaming desktops and laptops, alongside a refreshed lineup of Predator and Nitro gaming notebooks at Computex 2026.
Unlike traditional gaming handhelds that run games locally, the Nitro Blaze Link functions as a streaming device that relies on the processing power of a connected gaming PC. Acer said the approach allows for a lighter design while reducing hardware costs and power consumption.
The Nitro Blaze Link features a 7-inch WUXGA touchscreen display, Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, and weighs just 464 grams. The company claims it delivers low-latency streaming for responsive gameplay while allowing users to access desktop-class gaming experiences away from their primary setup.
Also announced was the Predator Helios 18 AI, Acer’s latest flagship gaming laptop. It can be configured with an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU based on the Blackwell architecture.
The Predator Helios 18 AI supports up to 256GB of memory and up to 6TB of storage. It also features an 18-inch Mini LED Dual-Mode display that can switch between 4K resolution at 120Hz and Full HD resolution at 240Hz depending on the user’s needs.
For gamers seeking a more affordable option, Acer introduced the new Nitro 16. The laptop is powered by AMD’s Ryzen 9 9955HX3D processor with 3D V-Cache technology and can be paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Laptop GPU.
The Nitro 16 also features a 240Hz WQXGA display and USB4 connectivity.
Acer has not yet announced pricing or availability details for the Nitro Blaze Link, Predator Helios 18 AI, or Nitro 16.
