Xiaomi’s home appliances will have a new member as the Chinese tech company announces its very own automated smart vacuum cleaner.
The Mi Robot Vacuum, like most robot vacuum in the highly advanced home appliance market, is a round cleaner that smartly sweeps your floor for you. It has what the company calls Laser Distance Sensor (LDS) that scans its surrounding at a rate of 1800/sec. A powerful Nidec brushless DC motor (up to 1800Pa air pressure) is used to suck the dirt from the floor.
It’s integrated into the Mi Home app for remote controlling and integration within the Mi Ecosystem. It also has a slew of features like Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) algorithm that allows the device to intelligently sweep the whole house with the best path to take. The vacuum can last up to 2.5 hours of continuous cleaning with a single charge.
It will be available on September 6 for RMB 1699 or around Php11,900 when converted. You can purchase through Mi.com or Mi Home stores in China. More info and images through the source link below.
