Samsung Gear S3 with IP68, GPS, LTE announced
Samsung is also at this year’s IFA where it presented its next-generation smart wearable, now bundled with GPS and LTE connectivity, and IP68 water resistance.
The Gear S3 also boasts of a bigger display from its predecessor, and is also the first smartwatch to be equipped with Corning’s scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass SR+. There will be two variants – the classic look which emulates the predecessor’s looks, and a Frontier variant with military-grade hardware to withstand the active lifestyle.
On the software side, the rotating bezel now has additional features such as accepting or rejecting incoming calls. The display can now recognize handwritten text and convert it for messages. There’s also a new reminders app for the watch for quick to-dos.

The new Samsung Gear S3 will be available in 22mm strap versions, so you may want to change it with one of your preference or from an array of other official straps from the Korean tech conglomerate. Availability and pricing is yet to be announced, but is expected to hit shelves before the end of the year.
