Netvibes is now Mobile

One of the items in my long list of Mobile 2.0 capabilities is Ajax support especially because I’ve been using Netvibes more and more each day. My current Samsung SGH i600 cannot load the site properly just like many other mobile phones, despite using more advanced web browsers like Opera.

Just now, Netvibes goes mobile. You can now check your Netvibes page on your mobile phone or your iPhone at the following address: http://m.netvibes.com

The page doesn’t look like the ajaxy startup page and has been reduced to a simple HTML page. The tabs are converted to bullets and the columns were reduced to a single long one for each tab. Gone are the fancy pages as they’re replaced by a simple but functioning startpage.

Netvibes is now Mobile

Well, at least it works. Now, I have my favorite RSS reader on my mobile phone. Will have to check this on my Nokia 6233 when I get back home.
