陆路运输办公室（LTO）宣布，将于明日（2016年12月19日）起发放正式驾驶执照卡。自今年1月起至10月期间申请驾驶执照的人士，可在马尼拉大都会区的36个LTO卫星办事处领取其驾照卡。
这些许可证仍沿用旧有的三年有效期，因为它们是在上一届政府任期内申请的。五年期的卡片将于明年发布。
