马尼拉电力公司（Meralco）已宣布，2020年1月电费将下调。
Meralco宣布，2020年1月电力费率每千瓦时（kWh）下调0.41比索，对于每月用电量为200千瓦时的典型家庭而言，总节省金额为82比索。该公司补充称，整体费率显著低于2019年1月的水平。
美拉科公共信息办公室负责人乔尔·萨尔多里亚加解释说，整体费率下调主要是由于美拉科电力供应协议（PSA）中的电力成本降低所致。
