Groupon Philippines has announced today that is it officially shutting down.
The announcement has been made on their website stating that starting today, September 22, the Philippine office will cease operations. This is part of the downsizing announced by global headquarters along with 6 other countries — Morocco, Panama, Puerto Rico, Taiwan, Thailand and Uruguay.
Groupon opened their Philippine office back in 2010 and soon merged with Beeconomic after a series of regional acquisitions.
