Announced last month during the 25th anniversary of Toshiba, the Libretto W100 is coming to the Philippines next month. We got some time with the dual-screen mini-notebook yesterday. See photos and videos after the jump.
The device is small but a little thick on the side, probably to accommodate more room for the dual LCD screens (see more details here).

Because of the lack of a physical keyboard and trackpad, we had a bit of a difficult time adjusting on how to navigate the Libretto.
The virtual keyboard is very dynamic and allows for various (we counted around 6) layouts — including full qwerty, split qwerty, ergonomic, numeric keypad, extended, etc.
We asked Toshiba representatives about the suggested retail price but they could not give us an exact figure, pointing to the US announcement which might translate to over Php50k.The Libretto W100 should be available in the Philippines by August 2010.

I disagree that it’s main failure would be Windows 7. Looks like the unicorn-like Courier in the flesh.

Maybe Microsoft just can’t optimize the courier UI to the hardware available.
Win7 ain’t bad actually, considering (1) the processor ain’t the run of the mill atom processor but is actually a decent dual core, and (2) win7 has been optimized for gesture control and its handwriting software has been raved by reviewers. One Note? It’s all up to the 3rd party developers to finally make a superb program to take advantage of the dual capacitive touch screens. and finally make the courier a reality

I think you forgot GST/VAT and shipping cost to Philippines Teknisyan,the price tag now this moment are more then 1000 euro (1300 USD)
Pre order are this moment in China USD 1475 EXCL GST/VAT/Shipping but I think the price go down end this year!
I saw a libretto being sold at the Toshiba store at megamall, I forgot the exact amount but it’s around 70k @_@
