Qube, the local electronics retailer, introduced an 8-inch phablet as part of broadening the company's lineup of devices. It's currently ready for orders and delivers for free anywhere in the Philippines. We featured the Qube QTouch Windows tablet back in July and borrowed a review unit which arrived last week. The install on the Qube QTouch was much easier and faster (did not bump into any problems) via an external DVD drive attached via the USB port. The Qube QTouch retails for Php19,999 for the WiFi-only version and Php24,999 for the 3G+WiFi model. Local PC retailer Qube is accepting pre-orders of what could be a 10-inch Windows 7 tablet they call QTouch. The Qube QTouch is one of the very few Windows-based tablet available locally and Qube claims you can install Android OS in it.
