Looks like Smart is testing a new service under their SmartBro brand which offers WiFi service to customers. Called the SmartBro WiFi, prepaid users get a Smart Tag with username and password to access WiFi hotspots for just Php10 per 40 minutes. Upon registration, you get 5 days unlimited wifi access right away. It looks like an integration of PLDT's Airborne Access service and SmartBro but with a much cheaper rate. Existing SmartBro postpaid customers get unlimited WiFi access on any SmartBro WiFi hotspots. Was fixing the built-in wifi device of the MSI Wind for several hours now to no avail. The problem is that the wifi just wouldn't detect any wireless connections even if you're already beside the router. I've already searched for related problems and read on forums that there's a sizable number of MSI Wind owners are having the similar problmes with the wifi.
