LG Philippines silently released a new variant in their Optimus Android series of smartphones in the local market. Announced last September 14, the LG Optimus One is now available in stores with a suggested retail price of Php12,990.
The Optimus One is among the very few handsets to have Froyo 2.2 pre-installed straight out of the box.

If you think the Php12,990 is not that very attractive, how about a 50% discount to bring it down to just Php6,495? The blast off sale will happen on November 13 and will be offered in all LG Concept Stores in the malls (SM Megamall, SM North EDSA Annex, SM Cebu, and Gaisano Davao).
Here’s the catch — this one-day sale will also happen in just a one-hour window so you need to be there when the clock strikes on top of the hour. Will post more details when I get more info from LG Philippines.
Update: Just confirmed that the sale will happen between 2:00 – 3:00 PM on November 13, 2010.

Ang galing nyo magpaasa ng tao. Kahit na cguro one hour na Sale lang yan if marami ang staff na mag-aasikaso marami ang mapapagbigyan. Isa ang nagdedemo, isa ang cashier (mano2x pa), isa magrerelease. Ang ibang staff nakatungaga lang. For sure ganon din sa ibang lugar, ok din kayong tlga LG noh, then ng malapit na ang time at marami nagagalit all of the sudden you said na eextend ang promo.. more units will be release at tatawagan lang! Don’t give us the reason dahil first time nyo lang nagkaroon ng ganitong promo, nde nyo na-anticipate na ganito mangyayari. ano kayo nde professional? nde marunong mag-isip?? These are all your marketing strategy pra mapasikat produkto nyo.. Good news you’ve got our attention, bad impression nga lang! DTI must look at this, at sna nde na mauulit ang ganito. GoodLuck na lang sa LG!
Sana lahat ng mga nagpunta dun. wag na tangkilikin ang kahit na anong produkto ng LG. Lhat din ng kamaganak, kaibigan at kakilala nila. Hikayatin natin sila na huwag ng bumili ng produkto ng LG. Napakasahol nila. Hindi pa nga sila sikat tulad ng nokia, ang yabang yabang na nila. Basura naman halos lahat ng produkto nila. nagkainteres lang ang mga tao bumili neto dahil 50% off. kung hindi naman yan 50% off wala namang bibili niyan e.
buti ngayon ko na lang nakita tong promo na to, otherwise isa ako sa mga sumusumpa sa LG ngayon.

May 30% sale parin ba?!
Bago ang lahat, nais ko lang malaman ng buong sambayanan na isa rin ako sa mga pumila during the sale. pero guess what, sumuko ako sa pila kasi alam kong di na kaya ng oras. just looking at it, ang haba ng pila for me to make it.
Common sense lang po yung pinairal ko since nakalagay naman sa promo na 2PM-3PM lang ang time range na pwede ma-avail yung promo. At alam kong I will not able to make it na. So I give up.
Ang payo ko po sa inyo, just move on na lang. Marami pa mangyayaring sale gaya nito. Kung di tayo pinalad na makakuha sa 50% sale ng LG sa very decent phone na optimus one, dapat positive tayo na may other chance pa.
Yung iba kasi dito pansin ko lang galit na galit to the point na ibo-boycott na raw ang LG products and everything. We can’t deny the fact na maganda talaga ang LG OPTIMUS ONE, good reviews all over the net. Nakita ko ang benchmark niya at malayong mas okay siya sa HTC, MotoDroid, SExperia.
I’m still going to buy this phone. Pero titignan ko pa kung magsi-sale sila ngayong december.

Im not from LG and I have this phone. nabili ko nung Oct31 pa @12,990. pinili ko to over HTC wildfire which has only 528mhz and 240 x 320 Qvga resolution, tpos ang mahal mahal pa. bago pa maganap ang sale nag popost na ko dito.
ok naman yung phone. problema ko lng ngayon is may 1 dead pixel ako. Pero di nman masyado halata kasi sobrang liit.sir yuga covered ba yun ng warranty? nag search ako sa net kelangan 5-10 dead pixel ung requirement para replacement na.(HTC brand). Tnx peace!

moving on na lang. sana mag-sale ulit sila kahit 30% kang. i’ve been targeting this phone eversince narelease siya sa korea because of its undeniably good performance and reviews sa net. at sa mas affordable price pa compared sa ibang android-based phone diyan.
