The latest HSDPA 3G modem from Smart Bro and Globe Visibility were manufactured by ZTE in China. Both are practically plug-and-play devices. The problem is running both softwares (3G dialers) on the same PC.
Since the device are practically similar, the system sees the two as a single device thus overwriting each others system settings. The Smart Bro model is MF622 and the Globe Visibility is MF626, making the latter the much newer model.

Incidentally, the newer device drivers from ZTE would not work with the older model used by Smart Bro. In fact, Globe Visibility takes over the Smart Bro installation folder in the Program Files.
In order for the Smart Bro HSDPA modem to work, one has to un-install the Globe Visibility software/drivers first. So, if you are using both, it’s a headache to switch from one service to another.
Was wondering if anyone out there has encountered this and was able to isolate the cause of the problem.

Yup, that’s it.
Why does the configuration written by

After reading all the blogs and comments for SMART, GLOBE and SUN I feel like I’m about to throw my Globe Visibility Huawei E160 out the window. Most of the good feedback are for SUN and it’s definitely because of the price. The thing is, it would be a waste to switch to SUN Huawei E220 especially since I purchased my modem at its original price of P2500. I was still in Davao then. My dilemma is this: Whether to “upgrade” to SUN and then just have the modem unlocked so that I can use it once I leave Manila or Stick to Globe E160 and then just have SUN config settings. Hope the gurus can enlighten me on this. Love this BLOG! =) Thanks everyone!

Fun Facts: Sorry, I don’t have the exact figures for some of them anymore, I’ll update it once I get back. This is via http://www.speed.io/index_en.html
Globe Visibility Speed in Pasay City: Protacio / Bangkal Makati Area: 303 Kbit/s DL speed (Smokin’)
Globe Visibility Speed in Trading Blvd. Davao City: Pretty decent.
Globe Visibility Speed in Km. 5 Maa, Davao City : Heaven Help Me. Skype can run on it though.
Globe Visibility Speed in Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur: It’s less than 56k, but hey, I can still play Vampire Wars!
Hope the gurus can enlighten me on this. Love this BLOG! =) Thanks everyone!

@leb,
Good Day! have been using Globe Visibility pre-paid for 5 months and have no complaint, the speed is really fast during mornings, ok during afternoons, quite slow during evenings-expected because of traffic. My problem is just i cannot used it using my guest account, have to use my admin account inorder to surf. The problem is both for my desktop with XP service pack 3 and my laptop with Vista Business service pack 2. Hope you can help. Thanks in advance

huawei e1552 ung globe tattoo n nbili ng brod q… panu xa i-dc unlock? mga mgkano kya gastos?
Siksik sa info ang forum na ito.
Meron akong Globe Visibility.
Thanks for unlocking my globe tatoo . i can now use smart globe and sun networks for mobile broadband. hassle free transaction at napakabait po nito. dont hesitate to deal with this person
@unlocker_ph
