If you thought the iPhone 3G Supreme was very expensive for you and want something easier on the pocket, you might want to check out the iPod Touch Supreme.
The iPod Touch Supreme is coated with 149 grams of 22 carat gold while the Apple logo is encrusted with 53 diamonds. The edges is lined with 300 additional diamonds while the Home button is covered with 12 diamonds and centered with a 2.1 carat pink diamond.
All that for just $233,000 or just over Php10 Million a pop.

Hmmm, I think I’ll buy two… no, make that three.
I bet manny pacquaio and jinky pacquaio will buy one for their children and jinky will buy the 3 million dollar worth iphone 3g supreme… hehehe
as for us mere mortals… mag abang tayo sa chinaphone version and magpasikat sa swarovski version. hahahaha
There are real people who COULD and WOULD BUY this. They have money to spare, so what the heck. This is unique, and that is enough reason for a few people to invest in it. Remember that Php5M Cartier watch years ago? It was a limited edition and reservations far exceeded the actual number of units produced.
The “lucky” ones had the bragging rights then, and that was so satisfying for them. To each his own, and being on the other side of the fence – we may never understand the longings of these people.
Peace!
Huwag lang sa Pinas gamitin Sir Yuga… He he he… But you’re definitely right.
@pusang kulog – I agree. while many will look at this as an expensive gadget, I looked at this as a unique jewelry.
waaa… ang mahal! isang Porsche na mabibili ko sa 10m.. waaaa
Oftentimes, what seems to be a stupid idea for us can be a brilliant and golden idea for someone else… (pun intended)
If I can afford it, I would buy it. Might put it on a frame or something and treat it like a fine work of art. Because that’s what it is.
Or I would just buy it and treat it as an investment, because while the iPod itself will probably cost just a hundred pesos 10 to 15 years from now, the gold in it will just increase in value and is a much more secure form of investment than many of today’s commodities.
grabe ang mahal….
