Apple has just announced that it's refreshing the iPod touch by giving it a new chipset and a new storage option. The latest iPod touch will now be equipped with an A10 Fusion chipset, replacing the A8 chipset in its previous model. With the A10, the new iPod touch now allows users to make Group FaceTime call and now has support for AR games. Other specs of the iPod touch will be retained, such as the 4-inch screen with an 1136x640 resolution, 8MP rear camera, 1.2MP front camera, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Since I updated my iPod Touch 2G to iOS4 several weeks back, I haven't really used it very often. Then this morning, I woke up and saw that the iPod Touch had its battery almost drained. In less than 10 hours, the iPod Touch went from 100% to 10% battery life and all I did was play a 30-minute podcast.
