Speck Wanderfolio Case for iPad 2

This new leather case (Speck Wanderfolio) for the iPad 2 might not be officially released in the Philippines but we got a sample unit to try out and eventually give away to readers.

The moment I unwrapped this leather case from Speck, I knew it would be more fitting for the girls. That soft, leather finish in a beige (off-white) color just screams “take good care of me!“.

And when you thought you’ve already seen this kind of case for the iPad 2 before, just wait ’til you open the front cover — there’s another flap that folds out two-thirds of the way.

This extra layer offers additional pockets for your calling cards, ATM cards, credit cards and even more wads of cash. That wallet-like portion can be concealed firmly by a safety button so you don’t just accidentally flip it open and expose all your riches.

The folds also provides functional options to transform the case into an iPad 2 stand. The rear fold is made of a combination of the same soft leather surrounded by a hard polycarbonate mold that fits snugly into your iPad 2.

I am told that this will not be released in the Philippines but the you can still get it at the Speck online store for $69.95 (~Php3,000). I really wanted to keep this for myself but I am told I have to give it away to any one of my readers who own an iPad 2.
