Qualcomm has just announced that it has come to an agreement with Apple to supply their Snapdragon 5G Modem-RF Systems for its iPhones until 2026.

The partnership between Apple and Qualcomm will cover “smartphone launches in 2024, 2025 and 2026” with the existing agreement set to end later this year.
This means that Apple won’t be introducing and moving on to using its own Apple Silicon architecture for 5G modem chips built in-house by 2025 or 2026 at the very least.

Moreover, Apple has been Qualcomm’s largest customer accounting for 22.3% of its revenue according to Bloomberg, with its next largest partner being Samsung accounting for 17.5% of its revenue.
