Listen to article

The OPPO A78 5G launched locally in March, and its 4G counterpart may soon be released as well. The model number of the 4G version, CPH2565, is now listed on the Singapore’s Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) website.

The listing was modest, revealing only common details such as support for WCDMA, LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, and GPS.

In comparison to the OPPO A78 5G, which features a Dimensity 700 chip (8GB RAM and 128GB storage), a 90Hz 6.56-inch HD+ LCD, 50MP+2MP dual rear cameras, and a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging, its 4G counterpart may have some cutbacks on these features, primarily on the chipset, which would lead to a lower price point.

For reference, the 5G variant is priced at PHP 14,999. We can expect the 4G variant to be cheaper.
