Attention women of the Philippines, the Department of Transportation and Communications and the Philippine Commission on Women has a gift for all of you on March 08, 2016.

Ladies can ride the LRT Line 2 and MRT for free on the said date for the celebration of International Women’s Day. You can hop on and hop off the metro system in the morning on route to your destination anytime between 7 AM and 9 AM. As for the evening shift, the window is from 5 PM until 7 PM.

Unfortunately, the LRT Line 1 is not part of the free ridership for the women in the country.
