Insta360 Connect dual-camera AI video bar launched

The Insta360 Connect has been launched. It’s an all-in-one dual-camera video bar made for small and medium-sized meeting rooms. It’s slated to offer exceptional audio and video quality for professional video conferences.

This device blends cutting-edge hardware and AI algorithms to provide users with immersive experiences.

For audio, it has a 14-microphone array and a 3A audio algorithm. In other words, it picks up voices from great distances up to 33 feet away. It delivers balanced volume and great clarity that comes off as natural sound.

Its adaptive audio system eliminates unwanted sounds as well as offering intelligent noise reduction technology. It works by analyzing the real-time acoustic environment in the room and removing unwanted audio and reverb.

For visuals, it boasts a dual 4K camera setup, which includes a wide-angle camera and a telephoto gimbal camera. These work together to capture group views in 4K, even working with individual close-ups seamlessly.

The imaging hardware is also complemented by AI Resolution+, which is a machine learning algorithm. It transforms image quality and detail by showing whoever is speaking in double resolution, making for immersive remote interactions.

The device also stands out by being able to track the speaker, keeping them centered throughout a meeting. It leverages multi-modal recognition technology by monitoring participants simultaneously to make quick and accurate transitions between speakers.

Lastly, it boasts a handful of modes. This includes Whiteboard Mode for presentations, Speakerphone Mode for classic conference calls, and Privacy Mode for discretion.

Sadly, the Insta360 Connect isn’t available in the Philippines just yet. However, we’ll keep an eye out and update readers when it is.
