The Xiaomi 18 Pro is expected to launch later this year, and a new leak suggests it could come with a major camera upgrade, featuring two 200MP rear cameras.

According to well-known tipster Digital Chat Station, an upcoming compact flagship phone with a 6.3-inch display is being tested with a dual 200MP camera setup. While the leak does not directly name the device, comments linked to the post point to the Xiaomi 18 Pro as the likely model.
If accurate, the phone could feature a 200MP main camera paired with a 200MP periscope telephoto lens. This setup is similar to what other flagship phones from rival brands are rumored to adopt later this year. Xiaomi has previously reserved its best camera hardware for Pro models, and the same strategy is expected for the Xiaomi 18 series.
Last year’s Xiaomi 17 and 17 Pro both used 6.3-inch displays, but only the Pro version received higher-end camera features. The upcoming Xiaomi 18 Pro is likely to follow this pattern, while a possible Xiaomi 18 Pro Max may also get the same camera upgrade.
Meanwhile, the standard Xiaomi 18 is also rumored to receive a periscope telephoto camera, marking a wider camera improvement across the lineup.
Xiaomi has not confirmed any details yet, and pricing, launch dates, and final specifications remain unannounced.
