The highly-anticipated Xiaomi 17 Pro Series 65 has been launched, which includes the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max and Xiaomi 17 Pro. While it looks similar to Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro Series, Xiaomi stands out with built-in displays on the back panel.

The Xiaomi 17 Pro Max has a 6.9-inch LTPO OLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate. At the back, it has a 2.9-inch screen with a 976 x 596 resolution.
Powering it is the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset with a larger vapor chamber for thermals. This phone comes with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.
For cameras, it has a 50MP main with OIS, 50MP ultrawide, and a redesigned 50MP telephoto at the rear. The main camera uses a Light Fusion 950L sensor and a Leica Summilux lens while supporting LOFIC HDR.
As for the telephoto, it has been tweaked with a different prism layout to fit a larger sensor. Plus, the 5x lens has a wider aperture (f/2.6). However, the downside of this is that macro shots need to be taken farther away (30cm from 20cm).
It packs a 7,500mAh battery with support for 100W HyperCharge. It also supports 50W wireless charging, while serving as a power bank with 22.5W reverse wired or wireless charging support.

The Xiaomi 17 Pro Max is launching in China first, starting at CNY 5,999 (~PHP 49K) with 12GB/512GB. It’s also available for CNY 6,299 (~PHP 51K) with 16GB/512GB and CNY 6,999 (~PHP 57K) with 16GB/1TB.
