OnePlus appears poised to make a significant leap in smartphone innovation with its upcoming flagship, the OnePlus 15. Recent leaks indicate the device will feature a substantial 7,000mAh battery, a departure from the company’s previous models, and a flat display design.

OnePlus 15 Specification
According to renowned tipster Digital Chat Station, the OnePlus 15 prototype is built around the SM8850 chipset, tentatively named Snapdragon 8 Elite 2. This suggests a focus on enhanced processing power and efficiency. The device is expected to sport a flat 6.78-inch LTPO display with a 1.5K resolution, moving away from the curved-edge 2K displays seen in previous models. The use of LIPO packaging technology is said to enable ultra-thin bezels, offering a sleek and symmetrical front design.
One of the standout features is the anticipated 7,000mAh battery capacity, a significant increase from the 6,000mAh battery in the OnePlus 13. Despite the larger battery, OnePlus aims to maintain a slim and lightweight chassis. The device is also expected to support 100W wired and wireless charging, ensuring rapid power replenishment.
The OnePlus 15 is rumored to include a 0916 vibration motor for improved haptics, a single-point ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and a fiberglass rear panel. It is also anticipated to have an IP68/IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.
The device is currently undergoing A/B testing for a triple 50-megapixel camera configuration. This setup may consist of a main sensor (with both standard and ultra-large versions being tested), an ultra-wide lens, and a periscope telephoto camera offering approximately 3x zoom.
Launch Date
The OnePlus 15 is expected to launch in China in October 2025, with a global release likely to follow in January 2026.

I had a OnePlus 8T. Upgraded to a 13. Love this phone as much as the 8T with one exception. I can’t get used to the power button so close to the volume buttons. I would prefer them on opposite sides
