Listen to article

OpenAI is expanding its ChatGPT apps ecosystem and Apple Music is set to be one of their next major partners.

OpenAI’s CEO of Applications Fidji Simo has stated that applications like Adobe, Airtable, Clay, Lovable, OpenTable, Replit, and Salesforce, and other developers will be able to submit their apps for review. Apple Music is one of the partners to be integrated into ChatGPT.

Rumors suggest that the Apple Music app for ChatGPT will may work just like Spotify’s. This means that it could run prompts like “Apple Music, make a playlist for my party this Friday,” allowing ChatGPT to instantly create playlists or surface tracks.

Apple Music requires an active subscription at USD 10.99 per month, with a one-month free trial available. OpenAI has not yet announced a specific launch date for Apple Music in ChatGPT but more details are expected in the coming days.
