Smart Money powers Philippines' first e-Parking system

Motorist with Smart Money accounts only need to text a code after parking on any of the 90 slots between Pedro Gil Street and the Magsaysay Center on Roxas Boulevard. The parking fee, which is P10 per hour, will then be automatically deducted from their mobile wallet. Vehicle owners can occupy a slot for a minimum of two hours.

To send a code, just text Park to 270 (For example: Park 2 ABC123 20). The SMS is free of charge.

“No more rummaging in your bag for a wallet and for spare change. Also, there will be no more panic over missing parking receipts because the system will send you an SMS containing the details of your transaction right after you text the code,” said Smart Financial Services Head Tricia Dizon.
