UNTV employs DJI Phantom drones for broadcasting

Listen to article

UNTV has just announced that they will actively employ drones to help them in broadcasting and news reporting. The station claims to be the first one to use them for taking videos to use in their daily broadcasts.

Based on their report it looks like UNTV is using the DJI Phantom for taking aerial footages.

They’ve used the same drones in taking videos in the aftermath of typhoon Yolanda and during the procession of the Nazarene. UNTV is also using drones to get videos for their traffic reports.

Using drones make more sense and is cost-effective compared to renting helicopters and flying cameramen over to take videos.

Last month, the Department of National Defense also announced they will be acquiring drones to assist them in surveillance, security, and search & rescue operations.

Hat tip to @jasonmoy.

I have been surfing online more than 2 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours.
It’s pretty worth enough for me. In my opinion, if all website
owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the web will be a lot more useful than ever
before.

Setting a running goal for the week is a good method to introduce the idea of tracking workouts.
Many of the Porsche owners had been racing their own for three decades before
the first Porsche entered the 500. It’s honestly, the easiest method to make a little extra money today.

A flying drone for a TV broadcast? Hold on a sec… The next thing we know that all forms, kinds, & types of communication media will be used to eavesdrop on unsuspecting locals….. Guns of the Patriots anyone?

What does CAAP have to say about this? :)

I do not think CAAP has something to do with drones and flying toys, not unless you will use and fly them past 200-400 feet within the aerodrome of the NAIA.

A flying drone ngayon, coming soon: underwater drone at rescue drone. Talagang public service
