As part of their Predator launch event in this year’s IFA, Acer official unveils their first dedicated gaming tablet called the Acer Predator 8 which features the same sleek design of the Predator 6 but with a different engine setup.

Instead of a deca-core processor, the Acer Predator 8 will feature an Intel Atom x7-Z8700 processor, the same processor found on the Microsoft Surface 3. This particular system-on-chip is based on Intel’s 14nm manufacturing process and boasts four processing cores with four threads, 2MB cache and Intel HD Graphics based on Intel Gen8 architecture.

Peculiarly, the Predator 8 only has half the amount of RAM (2GB) of what its phablet counterpart has (4GB), but has a spacious 64GB of on-board memory that can be expanded through a MicroSD card.
