The SpinQ Gemini Mini has been unveiled at the Quantum Information, Science, & Technology Conference (QISTCon) held this year. It’s a portable, 2-qubit NMR (nuclear magnetic resonance) quantum computer built to handle complex algorithms.

As per their website, it offers a complete solution for quantum computing education and demos. It has a built-in touchscreen, control system, and curriculum for teaching and self-learning.
The device fosters education, even with diverse academic backgrounds in terms of helping others grasp quantum computing basics and algorithm design.
Built to support real qubit gate operations, it can process foundational quantum algorithms. These include Deutsch’s algorithm, Grover’s search algorithm, and the HHL algorithm.
It’s yet to be seen whether the government or private institutions could adopt this or not, for now. However, it does spark a debate on how this could be explored and further developed.
