Manila City to launch official Facebook, Twitter accounts

The City Government of Manila will soon launch its own Facebook and Twitter account to deliver updates as well as to cater to complaints and concerns from its citizens.

Manila Vice Mayor, Isko Moreno, took to his own Facebook account to announce the said project. “We will soon launch an FB and twitter account solely dedicated to all your complaints/concerns and likewise inform you of traffic updates and official announcements from City Hall.” he said on the post.

Vice Mayor Moreno didn’t disclose when the social media accounts will launch but it’s good to know that Manila officials are taking steps to improve communication channels with netizens.
