Tronsmart Mirtune H1 Portable Bluetooth Speaker Hands-on

Staying wireless is getting more and more common especially when it comes to audio devices. It grants users the ease to simply connect to their devices through Bluetooth and not carry any other wires like audio jacks.

If you clicked on this article, chances are you’re looking for a portable Bluetooth speaker to bring around with you. That is where the Tronsmart Mirtune H1 comes in.

The Tronsmart Mirtune H1 is made out of metal with rubber edges on its side. It comes in two colorways: Blue and Black which is the review unit we have right now.

You get this speaker that has rounded edges and a built-in hook that can hang around anywhere you attach it to. The Mirtune H1 is also IPX7-certified, so it’s water-resistant to any liquid splashes it faces.

You can lay it either flat on the speaker’s back or have it hung onto something. I did struggle with trying to make it stand on its own.

The buttons on the front are the on/of and volume buttons while the power button and Bluetooth pairing button are seen up top. The LED indicators are seen in between the power and Bluetooth buttons. At the bottom, you can find the USB-C port for charging.

To connect to the speaker, simply turn the Mirtune H1 on and press the Bluetooth button. There, you can find the speaker on the device you wish to pair it with. No Bluetooth version has been specified, but from my experience, I did not notice any lip-sync lag when I watch any videos.

I do want to point out that if ever you take the source of the audio a few meters away from the Tronsmart Mirtune H1, you might notice some stutters every now and then so take note of that.

There is no WiFi, 3.5mm audio jack, nor a microphone seen on this speaker. Voice assistant support is not included here either.

With the Tronsmart Mirtune H1, it is equipped with one 8W full-range driver and one passive radiator. For it’s size, the sound quality is loud and is able to cover the whole room with its audio.

The mids and highs are sharp and crisp but not harsh and, it can produce those thumping beats but not powerful enough to produce the kind of bass that you can feel. Still, for how small it is, it is able to deliver a powerful sound that is just right.

The Tronsmart Mirtune H1 can provide up to 20 hours of playtime when it comes to battery life. This lasted the whole night up until the afternoon while it was on continuous playback. Charging will take about two and half hours, which is not that long to me with how long its battery life is.

If you’re in the market for a budget Bluetooth speaker that you can bring wherever you go, the Tronsmart Mirtune H1 is not a bad choice to get. It is able to deliver crips audio to whatever you are listening to without having much delay or lag to the video.<
