Unboxing: Nokia N81 8GB

This huge box came in the mail yesterday containing a test unit of the new Nokia N81 8GB. Pretty huge packaging for a phone IMO. The timing is just right as Engadget reports that Nokia’s N-Gage gaming service is already live. Complete specs and photos after the jump.

  1. Music phone right? Are those Bose Headset included? Geez music phone nga look the pixel for camera o_O

  2. AStig nyan sana i $0 contract ng singtel to..hahaha

  3. Too bad Nokia’s, in general, have pitiful sound quality. They made the right choice when they decided to use real DSP with their 5310 and 5610.

  4. Yup, the packaging includes the Bose headset. The customs declaration puts the value at 350 British pounds.

  5. The phone itself is very nice and now it becomes more tempting to buy because of those Bose wireless headphones. Do all N81 units come with those headphones or only for special versions?

Looking forward to your review as I’m in the process of choosing a new phone to replace my old one. :)

  6. I played with the N81 8GB and it’s pretty good. I won’t exchange it, however with my Nokia N95 8GB.
