Fujifilm introduced its new instant camera, the instax mini 13, on April 22 during a pop-up event at SM Mall of Asia. The new model adds a two-second and 10-second self-timer, giving users more control when taking photos.

The Mini 13 keeps key features from the previous model, including a selfie mirror and close-up mode. It can focus at a range of 30cm to 50cm. The camera now weighs 327 grams, slightly heavier than the Mini 12, which weighs 306 grams.
The Mini 13 is priced at P5,399, higher than the Mini 12 at P4,899. A bundle kit will also be available for P6,399, which includes extra accessories.

The camera comes in five pastel colors: dreamy purple, candy pink, frost blue, lagoon green, and clay white. Fujifilm said the design is aimed at younger users and those who enjoy simple and fun photography.
In an interview with Inquirer.net, Glenn Gatan, the marketing head, added, “Of course, I can’t say anything specific, but 2026 is going to be an exciting year for instax,” he said. “We play on the digital and analog a lot, so we have hybrid cameras, smartphone printers. So there’s a lot in store this year.”
